At Fintrel, we don’t see professional accreditations as a box to tick. They’re one of the ways we show how we work, and the care we take with the people who trust us.
The standards we hold give you a clearer picture of what to expect from us. They show that our work is shaped by recognised frameworks and checked independently. It means you can feel more confident in how we look after your plans and your information.
You can explore our accreditations and standards below.

Cyber Essentials
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against common cyber threats. Fintrel achieved this certification in January 2026.
We put our IT systems and infrastructure through this assessment because protecting client information matters. For our clients, it offers added reassurance that we have recognised safeguards in place to help protect the personal and financial information you share with us.

Equity Release Council
The Equity Release Council sets standards for equity release products and the firms involved in this area. Where this is relevant to your plans, we’ll connect you with members of our team who hold the appropriate qualifications and follow the Council’s standards.
That means you can expect a clear explanation of how it works, what the risks are, and the protections that may apply. These include safeguards set by the Council, such as the ‘no negative equity guarantee’ on eligible plans.

Good Business Charter
The Good Business Charter is an independent accreditation that recognises organisations committed to responsible business practices.
We choose to meet the Good Business Charter standards because we want the way we run our business to reflect the standards we set for ourselves. That includes areas such as environmental responsibility and fair treatment of employees. For you, it offers a clearer sense of the values behind our business and how we aim to work.

Consumer Duty Alliance
The Consumer Duty Alliance is an independent professional body dedicated to raising standards of practice and championing positive consumer outcomes. Fintrel proudly attained this accreditation in April 2026.
We aligned ourselves with the Alliance to publicly demonstrate our unwavering commitment to the Financial Conduct Authority’s core principles. For our clients, this means they can be absolutely certain that every strategy we construct is designed specifically to deliver fair value, transparent communication, and exceptional long–term results.

CII Chartered Financial Planner
Chartered status from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is an internationally recognised sign of professional standards. The designation is held at the individual rather than the corporate level. Several Fintrel team members are CII Chartered Financial Planners.
Having Chartered status gives you added confidence that the people guiding your planning have completed advanced qualifications and work to a clear code of ethics. It’s one of the ways we show the standards we set for ourselves, and the care we bring to our work.
